Welcome to the online home of Town & Country News, your local free newspaper for the Norfolk & Broadland area for the past 30 years. Please note that owing to the Coronavirus situation, sadly we will not be publishing an April 2020 edition of Town & Country News and no physical edition will be produced until the restrictions are lifted.
With the Government advice to stay in your own home unless absolutely necessary, we do not feel that it would be possible or desirable to distribute the paper, as this would require our team of deliverers to visit thousands of homes and businesses, so raising the risk to themselves and to those to whom they would deliver. Added to this, the majority of our advertisers have had to close their businesses and therefore won’t be advertising in the paper.
We hope that you understand our decision, which was not taken lightly. We will continue to have an online edition, which we hope you enjoy looking at.
We will be assessing the situation each month and as soon as there is a change and we are able to publish and distribute the physical paper again we will, of course, let you know.
If you would like to contact us in the meantime please do so via email (email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org) as there won’t be anyone in the office to answer the phone.
We wish you all the best and hope to be back delivering the paper to you as soon as we can.
